Dyeing & Pigments
During the dyeing process, manganese, as an oxidant, can provide oxygen atoms to cause the dye to undergo an oxidation reaction, converting the organic dye into a waterinsoluble colloid, thereby achieving the purpose of fixing the dyeing color and enhancing the dyeing speed.

Manganese mixed with different levels of hydration of iron oxide to make brown pigment. Manganese and iron oxides can be calcined into manganese iron black.
